Saggers Group Australia P/L is a family owned business that specialises in residential & commercial waste liquid management based in Mandurah WA. We're seeking a Works Coordinator to manage the scheduling and coordination of liquid waste services while also supporting customer engagement and business growth. This role ensures jobs run smoothly, safely, and efficiently — from routine collections to urgent call-outs including after hours emergencies - while helping promote our services through customer follow-ups and basic marketing activities.
About the Role
The Works Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing the collection, transport, treatment, and disposal of liquid waste in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner. This role coordinates drivers, ensuring customers receive timely service while meeting environmental regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and allocate trucks, drivers, and equipment for daily liquid waste jobs.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer bookings, service updates, and emergency requests.
- Coordinate with field teams & admin support to manage compliance paperwork.
- Monitor job progress and provide support to drivers when issues arise.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with environmental and regulatory standards with admin support.
- Following up quotes and turning them into confirmed jobs (sales support).
- Maintaining customer relationships, collecting feedback and supporting basic marketing initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in scheduling, dispatch, or operations coordination.
- Understanding of liquid waste operations, including septic, grease trap, oily water, and industrial waste collection (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, dispatch software).
