Take ownership of a growing part of our business

Join Performance Mining as a Field Service Coordinator managing the Field Service team. Competitive pay, supportive culture and opportunities to grow with us.

About Us

Performance Mining is a WA based provider of Plant Hire, Maintenance and Contract Services to the mining, civil, and transport industries. We deliver high quality outcomes with a focus on safety, performance, and client satisfaction, supported by a modern fleet and experienced maintenance team.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced, driven and organised Field Service Coordinator to take ownership of a growing part of our business. In this role, you will coordinate personnel within our Field Service team ensuring the right people are deployed to client sites to meet requirements and schedules.

The position requires strong communication with both clients and employees, maintaining a proactive and positive approach to managing changes, scheduling, and site priorities. You'll support the team in their on-site work, respond quickly to shifting demands and ensure both clients and personnel feel supported.

There is also the opportunity to contribute to business growth by supporting new client engagements and shaping this function as your own. For the right person, this is a chance to take ownership, drive improvements, and become the key point of contact for this area of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage maintenance personnel to meet client site requirements and schedules.

  • Maintain high-level communication with clients and employees, ensuring expectations and priorities are clearly understood.

  • Respond proactively to changes, scheduling adjustments, and client requests, providing flexibility and support to the team.

  • Allocate team members to tasks and adjust schedules to respond to shifting site demands.

  • Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and support professional development where required.

  • Support onboarding, inductions, and training of new maintenance personnel.

  • Ensure personnel compliance with site requirements, safety protocols, and WHS standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of assignments, timesheets, site documentation, and personnel hours.

  • Act as the primary contact for clients regarding the maintenance team, resolving issues and escalating where needed.

  • Collaborate with internal departments (operations, HR, logistics) to align resources and priorities.

  • Support safety and incident reporting processes, ensuring timely documentation and follow-up.

  • Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency, client satisfaction, and contribute to business growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in coordination, scheduling, or operations roles (mining or heavy industry preferred).

  • Strong organisational, communication, and people-management skills.

  • Proactive, flexible, and responsive approach to client and employee needs.

  • Knowledge of WHS standards, site compliance, and inductions in mining.

  • Proficiency with scheduling software, admin systems, and Microsoft Office.

  • Trade qualification or technical/mechanical background highly regarded.

  • Current WA C-Class driver's licence (essential); additional site tickets advantageous.

What's On Offer

  • Competitive salary + performance-based incentives.

  • Opportunity to take ownership of a growing section of the business.

  • Supportive and inclusive team culture.

  • Training and development opportunities.

  • Be part of a rapidly expanding mining services business where your impact is valued.

How to Apply
