The essential skills and qualifications you need:

- Strong oral and written communication skills allowing for the natural development of relationships and to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow direction.
- A “Can-do” attitude with a desire and willingness to learn and grow.
- Current unrestricted driver’s license.
- Experience at supporting organisational changes and improvements within an operational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and conduct tasks so they run smoothly within timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Your new role**:
Working in a small team with and reporting to the Fleet and Equipment Manager you will support the management and maintenance of a national fleet of +1,000 vehicles (both on road and off road). You will manage all aspects of the fleet including, procurement, disposal, commissioning new vehicles for national distribution (including purpose-built vehicles), supply of parts, vehicle registration and de-registration, licensing, insurance maintenance, fuel cards and e-toll accounts. This is a diverse role that will see you collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders across the organisation. We have operations in all states and you will have an opportunity to travel to these locations as we roll out new systems and projects across the network.

You will also be responsible for:

- Maintaining the fleet database, ensuring its accuracy, conducting data analysis, transacting leases and regularly liaising with the Fleet Management Partner.
- Assisting in the development and production of key reporting metrics to identify underperforming and low utilization assets.
- Collating, reviewing and reporting business and supplier performance data and meeting with suppliers to monitor and manage performance.
- Assisting with projects in relation to Fleet and equipment profitability, ensuring strategic and organisational alignment.
- Assisting key stakeholders on problematic sites or assets requiring regular stand-in equipment.
