Schlam is looking for a HSEQ Administrator/Coordinator to join our team as we embark on a journey of growth. This full-time permanent position will provide process and administrative support for HSEQ functions and report on relevant KPI’s that support company important company objectives.
**In this role, your responsibilities include**:

- Adhering to the HSEQ Systems by ensuring Company compliance throughout all work activities
- Develop, maintain and control the Document Management System (DMS) and ensure the company is compliant with quality standards.
- Process controlled documents for the Company such as registering documents, classifying documents, accurately quality checking document metadata and generating unique document numbers
- Ensuring effective control, storage and retrieval of electronic documents and that current version documentsare readily accessible to all employees
- Systems Administration of HSEQ reporting system (INX)
- Booking and coordinating training for staff
- Tracking and reporting on KPI’s as required
- Coordinate/conduct internal audits in line with Safety & Quality Management System requirements
- Auditing and reporting on event management in INX ensuring records are relevant and accurate
- Auditing and reporting on current needs requirements for licences/certificates
- Scan physical documents and name for electronic storage in line with paperless work environment.
- Provide general administrative assistance and support in HSEQ and HR matters.
- Provide guidance, support, and training in the use of Group systems and documents
- Maintain HSEQ KPI’s

- Diploma/Certificates in Business Administration, Quality or Health and Safety
- Certificate in Internal Auditing (desirable)
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems requirements
- Understanding of LEAN manufacturing concepts and principles
- Experience and demonstrated understanding of a document management framework and experience utilizing document management systems
- Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet objectives
- Intermediate computer literacy skills - MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
- Knowledge of MYOB EXO, INX, M-Files, SharePoint
