**The Role**

We are looking for an experienced Apparel Production Coordinator to join our fast-paced Schoolwear department at our Sydney Head Office.

As the Production Coordinator you will be the key communicator of the critical logistics path between Lowes Schoolwear and our local and offshore suppliers. We are looking for someone with previous Production Coordinator experience and excellent communication skills who can manage order placement and production schedules ensuring delivery dates are met.

**What you’ll do**
- Build and maintain delivery tracker and reports for optimal stock delivery visibility.
- Work with Account Managers for reporting & solving delay delivery issues.
- Utilise Critical Paths to diligently monitor and guarantee the fulfillment of all requested deliveries for both FIS and FOB shipments.
- Ensure the accuracy and real-time updates of delivery dates within the system to meet all commitments effectively.
- Checking & approving lab dips, bulk fabrics, pre-production & shipping samples from all offshore and local suppliers independently.
- Establish and monitor quality control processes to ensure that products meet or exceed established standards. Working with QA to implement corrective actions to address all quality & technical issues.
- Collaborate with the Product Development Manager to conduct comprehensive pricing analysis and engage in supplier negotiations as needed.
- Identify potential production delays, or issues and work proactively to address them.
- Troubleshoot any unforeseen challenges that arise during the production process.
- Possess a robust understanding of fabric and garment construction, coupled with adept problem-solving skills.
- Conduct on-site supplier visits and meetings to foster and strengthen positive relationships.

- Demonstrated experience as a production coordinator within the apparel industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and task prioritising skills.
- Ability to take ownership of role and manage the processes to ensure timelines are met.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of Excel and Microsoft Office.
