**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and team-centric Communications Coordinator to join our growing team.

In this newly created role, you will support the Communications Manager to implement the AVL communication strategy across internal and external channels.

Reporting to the Communications Manager, your primary duties will include:

- Review and optimise the AVL corporate website, ensuring that the content is current and relevant.
- Support internal communications development to drive employee connection, communication and collaboration.
- Establish relationships with print & online publishers, bloggers, editors, journalists to amplify brand AVL and the core brands.
- Manage AVL’s internal intranet, including the site content and visual design.
- Develop monthly LinkedIn content schedule and draft content.
- Manage the production of AVL’s bi-monthly internal newsletter.
- Assist in briefing creative, digital, and visual communication assets (e.g. photography, videography)
- Research competitor communication material to ensure we remain ahead of the market.
- Respond to AVL and pillar brand website customer enquiries and media requests.
- Prepare briefing materials, documents and factsheets for employees ahead of media appearances.
- Collaborate with agency to create and pro-actively identify opportunities for AVL coverage.
- Coordinate media training for media facing employees.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant industry news, updates, and events.
- Keeping annual calendars of events, targets, and activities organised and updated.
- Developing monthly media activity reports.
