**WAREHOUSING OFFICER**

**Our client, a reputable mining company is looking for a Store/Warehouse Person to join on site on a mine site just out of Broken Hill.**

Pay rate: $45.00p/hr.

Preferred start date: ASAP

Duration: 2 months (initial)

Roster: 8/6, 6am to 6pm

FIFO/DIDO: FIFO (from Adelaide) or DIDO (from Broken Hill).

Facilities provided: Camp room, 3 meals per day, self-service laundry room.

**Key responsibilities**:

- **Daily warehouse activities** - ensure unloading of incoming deliveries, loading of outgoing deliveries, storing and issuing of materials are completed safely, timely and efficiently.
- **Expediting** - coordinate deliveries of goods (including non-stock purchases) with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal customers, while adhering to schedules and deadlines.
- **Housekeeping** - maintain high quality housekeeping of warehouse, laydown yards, and bulk material storage facilities around site.

**Qualifications needed**:

- Proven experience as a warehouse officer, preferably in resource industry, for a minimum of 1 year.
- A current high risk forklift licence is essential. Licences for other plant/equipment is beneficial.
- A qualification in warehouse/logistics or a trade qualification with significant post-trade experience
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential. Proficiency in using Microsoft Teams is beneficial.
- MUST have a proficiency in using an ERP system (for examples: Pronto, SAP, Maximo) to manage purchasing, warehouse, logistics, inventory management, and cataloguing activities. Proficiency and experience using Pronto is preferred.
