**Our team is growing rapidly and we're on the hunt for a solution focused Application Specialist (Culinary) to join our team and help our company to achieve our big, audacious goals to transform the plant-based and alternative protein sector.**

**This Application Specialist (Culinary) will**
- Support the commercial team to contribute to the growth of our business, taking a creative and strategic approach to brief execution and contributing to brainstorming sessions and account strategy planning as required.
- Develop product concepts and demonstration kits to promote Nourish technology.
- Maintain accurate and retrievable records of all formulas sent to clients.
- Participate and arrange tasting sessions and develop expertise and proficiency in the organoleptic evaluation of plant-based culinary products.
- Knowledgeable, reliable, and timely technical support across business functions, including Commercial, Marketing & Regulatory.
- Develop or deliver customer workshops and presentations to raise customer awareness of Nourish Capabilities and Ingredients.
- Identify, implement, and manage continuous improvement of processes and ways of working.
- Support customers with factory trials.
- Arranging sample submissions to customers and external labs.
- Assisting with product shelf-life testing plans and analysis.
- Work closely with Nourish research Chef.
- Maintain lab stock of raw materials, and other lab materials.

**You have**:

- Degree in Food Technology or related areas, with at least 3 - 5 years of experience in the food industry.
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong customer-focused, results-orientated, good time management skills
- Creative, pro-active, agile
- Strong Team player
- Ability to travel to different sites and customers.
- Good understanding of GMP/GLP & HACCP.
- Ability to taste and appraise food products.

**It would be great, but not essential, if you also had**
- Experience in Flavours, stabilising ingredients including hydrocolloids, emulsifiers, enzymes, plant protein, and other functional ingredients.
- Experience in extrusion technology.
- Experience in Plant based meat.
