About the role
We are looking for an Application Developer to provide application support on customer application with a view to develop future enhancements.
This role is based in Canberra.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Troubleshoot incidents and provide technical code fixes and data fixes.
- Develop program enhancements as defined in functional requirements / user stories.
- Ensure unit tests are developed and executed on all code changes and enhancements prior to peer review.
- Ensure peer review is always completed successfully prior to migration of data fixes, code changes and enhancements.
- Identify recurrent incidents and undertake root cause analysis providing permanent solutions to underlying problems.
- Ensures that solutions adhere to development standards.
- Maintains current documentation on all programs, systems and procedures.
- Ensure SLAs are achieved and the customer's expectations are exceeded
- Ensure that systems, processes and methodologies as specified are followed.

Key technologies (100% Microsoft) used include but not limited to:

- MS Azure
- MS Azure App Service(s)
- MS Azure ESB
- MS REDIS
- MS SQL
- MS Azure Monitor, Insight, Sentinel, Defender
- MS Remote Desktop (RDS)
- Azure Active Directory (AAD)
- Azure Key Vault
Australian Citizenship is mandatory. Current or reinstatable AGSVA NV1 Security clearance, NV2 is preferred.
