Portfolio Analyst

We are looking for a Portfolio Analyst to join our team.

**Your responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Supporting the achievement of Westpac's strategy by working with delivery leads to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate progress of portfolio, program and project management across the team.
- Working collaboratively with all sections to execute business cases that support targeted business outcomes and deliver business value, including management of operational budgets and resource allocations.
- Co-ordination of scoping workshops, post implementation reviews and various other project and team related activities.
- Coordinating internal and external meetings and events - including agenda and invite management, minute taking and action items (as appropriate), booking of meeting rooms and videoconferencing, organising equipment and catering where required.
- Complying with the group governance processes, ensuring stakeholders understand their role in delivery and required decision making and escalation processes are in place to help achieve success.
- Providing support to senior leadership team as required including assistance on strategic projects, managing travel requirements and expenses, assisting with new employee onboarding.

**What do I need?**
- You will have at least 1 years project experience, ideally with relevant Risk and Regulatory delivery experience
- Strong understanding of agile project processes and tools
- PMBOK Competencies
- Previous experience within financial services will be highly regarded but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent administrative skills with great attention to accuracy and detail
- Strong organisation and coordination skills with the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
- Professional, calm and 'can-do' approach
- Strong competency with MS Office skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
