The Portfolio Analyst will support insights & sophisticated analytics across the credit management journey with a focus on Loss Prevention, including fraud, involuntary churn, and bad debt. This role will be accountable for developing reporting solutions, forecasting, and key insights associated with Loss Prevention metrics and initiatives while also working cross functionally to support, as required, the other areas within the credit management lifecycle including credit risk, collection & recoveries, Hardship, and debt management, across all the Optus portfolios (Consumer, Business, Wholesale, Enterprise).

This will include supporting the wider team across core reporting solutions to manage performance, measurement & effectiveness of key strategies, conducting deep dive analysis to improve decision making, identifying underlying key behaviors/drivers related to involuntary churn, forecasting Bad Debt Expense and involuntary churn as inputs into recurring financial forecasting, devising reporting solutions to support performance management, and generally support the Performance Analytics where required.

**Your day in the life at Optus**
- Develop/maintain key performance indicators (financial/operational) and performance management solutions to enable tracking of business performance and drive accountability
- Design and build measurement solutions based on requirements and industry best practices using Tableau/PowerBI
- Deliver and automate high quality dashboards and reports to present information in a clear and efficient way through engaging visualization
- Support the delivery of data driven and actionable insights across the credit management lifecycle that are accurate and have the potential to deliver real value by influencing business outcomes
- Develop and standardize templates for insight delivery to increase impact, enable a compelling story flow, and drive end-user ease of use

**Your skills to pay the bills**
- Proven background in data analytics and can design and develop data integration and visualization solutions
- Strong knowledge of data and how it drives value, with a clear understanding of data models, data integration architectures and visualization tools.
- Experience in modelling, querying, and integrating databases, including relational (SQL), regression, time-series
- Adv. SQL experience in manipulating complex and large data
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to present complex issues in a concise and logical format.
