Notes to applicants:
Dimensional sees great value from collaborating in our offices and appreciates the benefits of flexibility. Most roles fit our office-first hybrid approach which includes working 3 days in the office and the choice to work 2 days in the office or remotely, depending on what is best for that work day. This maximizes in person collaboration and interaction while simultaneously providing flexibility. This broad universal approach applies to most roles globally with a few exceptions that require more or less time in the office. Please discuss with your Recruiter to confirm the details for this specific role.
Resumes and portfolios (when applicable) are required as part of your application. When applying from a mobile device or tablet, you may not be able to attach a resume. If you cannot include an attachment at the time of your application, you will receive a follow up email asking you to attach your resume from a computer.
Here at Dimensional, we strive to be an inclusive workplace for all. Even if you do not match every qualification listed, if you are interested in who we are, what we do, and why we do it, we suggest and encourage you to apply.
The use of Artificial Intelligence during interviews and skill testing is prohibited, unless Dimensional Fund Advisors has authorized such use.
If you require reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, or otherwise participating in the employee selection process, such accommodation is available upon request.
The Team & Role
The Portfolio Management group manages global funds across multiple asset classes for clients ranging from large institutions (such as sovereign wealth funds and central banks) to financial advisors and individuals.
The Portfolio Management team is responsible for the implementation of Dimensional's investment philosophy. Portfolio managers ensure client portfolios continually pursue the targeted premiums, provide traders with buy and sell candidate lists, outline trading parameters, and assist clients to understand Dimensional's investment practices.

The team of Analysts work collaboratively to share tasks which include but are not limited to: analysis of corporate actions and formulation of election recommendations for Portfolio Managers, review of market news and consideration of their potential impact on securities that are held across portfolios, daily reconciliation of client portfolios ensuring that cash balances are accurate and reflect all significant transactions. The work is operational and of crucial importance in the daily investment process.
Additionally, Analysts execute ad hoc requests from Portfolio Managers such as portfolio analysis, data requests, and research into relevant market and company-specific developments. An Analyst may also complete long-term projects that involve identifying possibilities for improvement in Dimensional's portfolio implementation processes. An Analyst will regularly coordinate with portfolio managers, traders, custodian banks, and Dimensional offices across the globe.
