We are partnering with a leading Australian Infrastructure business who are looking to hire an EPMO Analyst to join their fast growing transformation team.

The EPMO Analyst helps establish and maintain the EPMO using best practices for portfolio management. They use their data management, reporting, and analytical skills to support the EPMO Manager in managing the portfolio effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish and embed EPMO portfolio management processes, tools and practices
- Review and analyse project/program status and provide insights and trend analysis
- Proactively identify portfolio risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate as needed
- Maintain EPMO registers and related details, including benefits, metrics, and lessons learned
- Produce and manage EPMO and divisional reporting requirements
- Manage program and project status reporting activities
- Support financial management of EPMO investment portfolio and project/program expenditure
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders
- Facilitate annual investment planning and portfolio prioritization activities
- Monitor and manage EPMO mailbox, SharePoint site, and community communications
- Provide portfolio administrative, coordination, and analyst support
- Manage data requirements with PPM Tool and/or Power Apps
- Identify process and technical improvement opportunities to develop fit-for-purpose tools, templates, and methodologies

What you need:

- Strong experience in reviewing functional and technical projects for risk, performance, dependencies, and forecasting
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and analyse problems and find solutions
- Ability to clarify requirements using process/data modelling tools
- Work experience in PMO or EPMO, and knowledge of PM principles and frameworks
- Ability to assess training needs for project delivery practices
- Attention to detail and experience in supporting complex project delivery
- Effective stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with complexity and ambiguity
- Ability to coach, mentor, and guide others in adopting new ways of working
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present to senior leaders and manage stakeholder meetings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PPM tools
- Understanding of basic accounting processes
- Experience or certification in multiple project management methodologies and practices preferred.
