About The Role

As a Senior Portfolio Analyst – Portfolio Completion, you'll play a hands-on role in ensuring our investment strategies are executed efficiently and aligned with our members' best interests. You'll collaborate with experts across the business, contribute to innovative solutions, and see the real-world impact of your work.

Day To Day, You'll

  • Provide complex analysis and research to support the management of completion strategies, ensuring portfolio exposures align with investment intent.
  • Contribute to the implementation of efficient asset class exposures using derivatives, physical, and overlay strategies to manage market access, hedge risk, and support liquidity.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to execute investment strategies in the best financial interests of our members.
  • Deliver performance updates and insights to stakeholders, and help craft clear, concise presentation materials for decision-making.
  • Build trusted relationships across the Investments business and with external networks, sharing industry insights and trends.
  • Support the team in delivering completion portfolios across Growth, Mid Risk and Defensive allocations, with a particular focus on Defensive assets.

About You
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

  • You hold a relevant tertiary qualification in finance, investments, economics or a related field, giving you a strong foundation for complex portfolio analysis.
  • You bring hands-on experience in the investment industry or a related domain, with a curiosity to deepen your expertise in Fixed Income.
  • You have an understanding of investment principles, instruments and valuations, particularly for Fixed Income and Equities.
  • You thrive on advanced research and quantitative analysis, and you're comfortable working independently to deliver high-quality insights.
  • You have experience or interest in coding languages, such as Python.
  • Your communication skills are well developed, allowing you to clearly explain complex concepts to a range of stakeholders.
  • You're a natural collaborator, building strong relationships and contributing positively as a valued team player.
  • You're proficient with relevant systems and tools, and your meticulous attention to detail ensures nothing slips through the cracks.
