If this is you, we are seeking a passionate payroll professional who can immerse themselves into a standalone end-to-end payroll position.

This role is part of the People and Culture team and is based in Mentone.

It is a hybrid role, so there is capacity for work from home and work from an office environment, you will always feel connected with the team.

**Now a bit about the company.**

We are a Melbourne based Automotive retailer with 300 employees across multiple sites.

**About you**:

- You have proven payroll experience in an end-to-end capacity
- Ability to think outside the box and create change
- Influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Customer focused
- Demonstrated ability to be self-driven and work autonomously
- Quick learner
- Capable of meeting tight deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with UKG will be highly regarded (but not essential)

**To be successful in this unique opportunity you will be required to**:

- Take ownership of the payroll function.
- Provide sound payroll advice to the Head of People and Culture.
- Answer any payroll related queries in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our client groups.
- Be innovative and always look for new ways to improve payroll processes.
- Accurately process fortnightly payroll for 300 employees using UKG Software.
- Calculation and processing of superannuation, payroll tax, and salary packaging
- Creation and management of payroll reports, dealing with new start and termination paperwork
- End of month reconciliations
- Dealing with any payroll related queries and any other ad hoc duties as required
- End of FY reporting and reconciliations
- Assisting the Head of People and Culture where required
