SME Gateway is a professional services capability provider to Defence, federal, state and local government clients. Our success comes from over 400 small to medium enterprise subcontracting members across Australia, who participate in our capability provisioning programs.

**Responsibilities**

Your main duties will be to provide oversight, direction and support to the Operations Team, to ensure the timely review, negotiation and preparation of various company contracts and associated reports and documents in company systems, to a high standard of production and compliance.

You will demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability

to discover potential risks for our company, whilst leading a small team

of business support personnel.

Ultimately, you should ensure all our contracts and associated

operational activities conform to legislative requirements, conform to

deadlines and meet our company goals.

**Duties**
- Provide oversight and direction to BSO staff, ensuring their activities, performance and output align with company goals.
- Prepare member and client contracts and supporting documents, ready for execution by an approved person.
- Negotiate contract terms with internal and external members, contractors and clients.
- Review and update existing contracts.
- Work with other staff to ensure contract deliverables are met
- Analyse potential risks involved with specific contract terms
- Stay up-to date with legislative changes and coordinate with executive management as needed
- Maintain company systems and physical and digital records
- Create and lodge compliance reports as required
- Create internal reports as required
- Undertake other duties as directed

Salary is $110,000 plus superannuation.
