Your Role
**We are looking for an A03 Executive Assistant to support**:
- the Communications team to help implement and promote many exciting early childhood landmark initiatives, through a range of administrative functions, including event support;
- the Executive Director in delivering key priority state-wide work in the Kindergarten to Year 2 space supporting governance of programs, quality improvement and transitions and quality assurance and capability.
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide quality administrative and corporate support within the Division.
Responsibilities Include
- Provide confidential administrative support to Executive Directors, Directors and other staff across the division in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Employ effective communication skills to liaise professionally with officers and individuals at all levels of the division, the department, other government agencies and private sector and community representatives.
- Arrange appointments and provide administrative support for committees, meetings and conferences including catering, materials and information and providing support and minute taking.
- Provide events support, by arranging contractors and logistics on behalf of the Division. This may include organising travel and accommodation.
- Maintain records and administer the flow of correspondence across teams, following up on outstanding items and preparing documents for approval.
- Develop and maintain management and administrative databases, process information and prepare correspondence and associated reports for senior officers.
