Team Leader, Direct Lending

**The role**

You will lead and coach bankers to deliver exceptional service to our customers and help customers achieve their financial goals.

Additionally, you will provide leadership support and guidance to teams utilising Operational Leadership Playbook and Distinctive Leadership standards.

**Your responsibilities**
- Ensuring banker training is provided, and work with proficiency teams to uplift banker capability
- Ensuring direct reports are focused upon identifying opportunities by uncovering current and future customer needs and either closing or referring to the correct specialist team
- Developing and maintaining skilled and motivated bankers across the team
- The day-to-day capacity management to assist with training needs and incoming forecasted volume
- Identifying continuous improvement for procedures and help with solutions
- Ensuring bankers operate within appropriate policies
- Ensuring all personal training records are maintained and kept up to date
- Coaching, monitoring, supervision of Direct Reports to ensure they perform their role in a compliant manner
- Conforming with all internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position

**What you will need**
- 2+ years in financial services and/or contact centre industry
- 1-2 years in Lending is desirable
- Demonstrated capability in coaching and developing teams
