**About the Role**

This position is primarily responsible for contributing to social research by working with internal stakeholders to design and program surveys, synthesise and analyse data (quantitative and qualitative) and build and maintain research databases and dashboard reporting. The role will also support the project research team on a range of discrete research and co-design activities.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Support more senior staff in delivering project research and co-design activities, to meet program objectives and appropriate standards of scientific rigour.
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing research reports, to support informed decision-making and planning
- Provide timely advice and communication within the Team and relevant stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that technical and scientific considerations are properly considered.
- Prepare a range of project related documents as instructed, including research papers and discussion papers.

**About You**
- Experience in survey design, and research synthesis and analysis
- Well-developed data analysis skills and knowledge
- Demonstratedexperienceindeliveringsocialresearchand/orevaluationprojects.
- Relevant social science degree qualification and/or relevant experience.
- Previous Government experience would be desirable.
