The Marketing & Communications Officer is a driven individual with the proven experience to develop and drive marketing and communications initiatives designed to make Parramatta a destination of choice, and will possess exceptional project management skills and experience. This position is responsible for cross functionally designing, coordinating, and delivering strategic visitor, events and investor marketing, and communications for the City that actively reach and target identified market segments to increase visitor numbers, length of stay and visitor spend, and broaden people’s awareness of Parramatta as a destination to work, live, invest and study.

This exciting opportunity is a permanent full-time role that suited to a mid-level marketer who is able to establish, guide and build the strategic positioning of the City of Parramatta within the visitor, business and local community.

The role will be supporting the marketing and communications team to implement campaigns on a project basis.

Proven experience in changing perceptions, executing experiential marketing experiences, events marketing and creating and leveraging user-generated content will be looked upon favourably.

**What’s on offer**

We are offering a permanent full-time position with an attractive salary from $92,062.27 p.a. pro-rated plus Super.
