Reporting to the People and Culture Manager the P&C Coordinator at Burger Urge will play a vital role in supporting and attracting new team members. You will be responsible for ensuring that our HR policies and practices are up-to-date, compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and aligned with our company values.

The Role
- Collaborate with P&C team to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires
- Conduct orientation sessions for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the organization
- Create and maintain employee records and assist with HR-related administrative tasks
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Organize and participate in employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture
- Assist with performance management and employee relations issues
- Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures and employment laws

Additional details
- The probationary period will include 2 weeks in-store as a crew member learning the operational side of the business.
- KPI bonus will commence at the start of a new quarter or earlier at the discretion of the Director.

About you
- 1+ years of HR experience
- 2+ years of talent acquisition experience
- Experience with employment contracts and PDs.
- Sound regulatory, Fairwork, and NES knowledge.
- Capable of Award interpretation
