Working closely with the Business Development Manager for APAC you will be an integral member of a small, dedicated, focused and passionate team here in Melbourne.
This exceptional opportunity will see you be responsible for the control and management of all administrative and logistics supply chain duties, in addition to all activities to support the BDM achieve sales and DGP plans in Australia.
**About the Role**:
- Customer Order processing and Invoice Data entry.
- Raise Purchase Orders and liaising with factories.
- Prepare the forecasts based on sales data received from customers and communicate with our purchasing teams/factories
- Review stock levels and raise any potential issues with customers.
- Attend to customer queries when required, within the customer's time frame and maintain records.
- Support the BDM and ensure all communication with internal and external contacts are clear and succinct, and deadlines are adhered to.
- Support the day to day management of projects i.e. follow up on outstanding matters, co-ordinate information required to complete tenders.
- Assist the BDM on other supply chain tasks when required.
**About You**:
- Previous experience within, and a true passion for the FMCG industry (specifically within household / personal care categories) advantageous
- 3+ years in an Office Support or Customer Logistics Support position preferably with private brand experience
- High data entry accuracy
- An unerring attention to detail and the desire to be part of a professional close knit team
- Experience dealing with major retailers is preferred, exposure to dealing with European markets will be highly regarded however is not essential
- Strong Sage X3, Xero or Pronto software experience highly regarded
- At least intermediate Excel skills required
- A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to be flexible and adaptable
