**Brief**:
Smart Commercial Solar is pleased to announce a position for a Service Coordinator to join our growing Service Team.

This role will be located in our North Sydney office, with regular travel to sites, and will be reporting to the Head of Service.
**Responsibilities**:
A Smart Commercial Solar (SCS) Service Coordinator works within the Service Team under the Head of Service providing engineering, auxiliary and sales support in the monitoring, operation and management of Commercial Solar PV Systems. This role has the primary function of ensuring optimal system performance across the SCS fleet which includes many sub-roles and responsibilities.
The following is a list of the roles and responsibilities that this role entails which may include:
- Customer Service/Support - Responsible for receiving, actioning or re-directing inbound enquiries to the relevant personnel within the company. This can involve requests from customers such as; updating contact details, reports and data, concerns with system performance and general enquiries.
- Rectification Management and Scheduling - Assisting the Service Team in coordinating and managing rectifications on our sites using our ticketing system. This will involve; receiving a job brief, creating a case, coordinating a contractor to attend the job(s), confirming access with the site, confirming all documentation is completed prior to site attendance and ensuring all reports and invoices are received and processed. This also involves scheduling and ensuring annual inspections are being completed for the sites with long-term servicing
- Warranty Management - Assisting the Service Team in coordinating warranty cases for existing sites for panels and inverter. This involves coordinating testing to be completed, receiving test results and submitting it to OEMs for approval. This can also involve processing labour and warranty reimbursements with suppliers.
- Customer Success - Communicating with our existing clients about any concerns they may have and how we can improve the customer experience and existing solutions.
- General Administration - Ensuring general administrative tasks are completed in timely manner with communication being made to relevant personnel within the business. This can include but is not limited to; general reporting, monthly reporting, submitting up to date documentation e and keeping our CRM and ticketing system up to date.
- Procurement - Placing orders for materials required on site. Managing and sourcing quotes from suppliers and approving invoices to be processed.
- Document Creation and Improvement for Processes - Assisting the Head of Service in creating and improving internal and external documentation and processes used by SCS.
- Handover from Projects - Aiding the Service Team in finalising system details and setting up a PV System onto the internal monitoring systems and database.
- Database Updating - Aiding the Service team in updating and finalising system details in the database for new and existing PV systems.
- Service Sales Assistance - Reaching out to existing and new customers for the sale of PV System O&M packages. This can include finding new leads or communicating with old customers who have passed their existing workmanship period. Includes using SCS’s internal sales CRM.
**Key Attributes of the role**:
- Have an understanding of the electricity industry and a sound understanding of photovoltaic systems
- Have experience with both rooftop, ground mount systems and hybrid solar systems.
- Be an independent thinker, with an ability to identify procedural and technical issues and suggest workable solutions
- Be organised and able to work on multiple issues at one time
- Able to maintain excellent internal and external working relationships, including those with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite
