**Role**:
We are looking for a Systems Interaction and User Experience Design for a current project. Good systems interaction design is required for the design of the program systems, integration with other systems and support Product Owners with how to design their work processes for the future based on the new systems that will be implemented.

The interaction design (IxD) process is what designers use to create solutions centred on users' needs, aims and behaviour when interacting with products.

This will assist the buyer with designing interactions between persons and a product, system, or service. When new systems are developed, it is important that the processes, people and system are integrated for a seamless user experience. This includes good understanding of as-is processes, future processes and what the system will achieve. The designer will work closely with the ICT development team to ensure designs are not only user-centric but also pragmatic (scalable) and future-proofed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design the end-to-end experience using UX principles.
- Design based on brief.
- Produce user journey mapping, story boarding based on scenarios.
- Creating useful IT project/systems service blueprints and high level presentations on the design proposal.
- Produce task screens to support understanding of new processes based on the systems.
- Design responsive UI that meets WCAG AA and AAA standards.
- Provide CSS codes (or code libraries) to support the development of UI designs.
- Lead conversations and discussions with key stakeholders at all levels the design, consult and present design concepts.
- Produce site maps and task flows to support business analysis and systems development.
- Analyse development feasibility of the design.
- Perform a variety of UX activities such as focus groups, empathy maps, personas to assist with good systems development.
- Product analysis and segmentation analysis.
- Produce features and user story mapping.

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills and ability to work with stakeholders from all levels.
- Strong design and content writing skills.
- Ability to negotiate well with conflicting views on designs.
- Ability to produce good quality outputs with mínimal reviews in a timely manner.
- Ability to drive conversations to produce useful and pragmatic design outcomes.
- Good understanding of government needs and is able to adapt work practices to the organisational environment and outcomes sought by the business.
- Good understanding of CSS and CSS libraries and coding skills are desirable.

- Specified personnel are required to be cleared to a minimum level of NV1
