
Financial Process Improvement Analyst

Your Role
You will be is responsible for collating and managing high level process mapping for the financial processes of the organisation. This position interrogates these processes looking for improvement opportunities through system optimisation, automation, robotics and other technologies, formulating recommendations for consideration and will be involved in projects to implement.
A key focus is to deliver high level process mapping and documentation around the organisation’s finance processes, identifying improvement opportunities, recommending changes and being involved in process improvement implementation.
The Position- Establish document and maintain high level process mapping (end to end) and documentation for organization financial processes.- Highlight pain points (root cause analysis) and improvement opportunities.- Facilitate requirements gathering and workshop facilitation.- Proactively identify, scope and provide business case input to improvements with process owners or managers.- Analyze moderately to highly complex data to determine the appropriate course of action as required.- Efficiently create complex documents and/or reports using spreadsheet, database, and accounting software as required.- Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.- Support project teams established to execute identified improvements.- Support change management activities to implement redesigned processes and systems.- Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to gain buy in for and communicate complex changes to senior management.- Foster a partnership approach to working with process owners and team members.
You will possess relevant qualification with a strong understanding of core business processes including payments, accounting, investments, payroll and banking.
To succeed, you will possess strong process mapping skills with stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills.
