
Financial Process Improvement Specialist

The role of Finance Systems and Process Lead is pivotal in overseeing the management and optimization of financial systems, processes, and reporting frameworks to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic decision-making.
This position provides subject matter expertise on finance system functionality and related best practices, leads all improvement initiatives in a structured manner, and ensures that financial processes are aligned to industry standards, scalable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
You will be responsible for leading the development and governance of financial reports and dashboards (Power BI, ERP) to deliver timely insights for decision-making.
Additionally, you will facilitate stakeholder workshops to define requirements and drive process improvements in line with industry benchmarks.
As the primary liaison between Finance, business units, and vendors, you will ensure clear communication and delivery of business outcomes.
Furthermore, you will conduct gap analyses of processes and systems to identify and implement improvements.
You will also be responsible for enhancing financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting) to streamline workflows and boost efficiency.

A relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, business, or information systems is required. A CPA or CA qualification is highly regarded.
Demonstrated experience in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of financial systems including data migration, user acceptance testing, and system training.
Proven ability to lead the ongoing improvement of financial processes, data and reporting frameworks and the development of user-friendly dashboards and financial tools to support executive decision-making.
High proficiency in financial systems, data analysis, and visualization tools (especially Power BI), with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
