Job Overview

This role is a key partner with the business to identify and support efficiency initiatives, as well as develop financial reporting processes.

The opportunity is for a Strategic Financial Analyst to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Commercial Manager and work on supporting cost and capital reporting, driving variance analysis, and partnering with the business to improve efficiency.

Main Responsibilities
  • Development of operating budgets and forecasts
  • Maintenance and development of internal and external cost and capital reporting, including variance analysis
  • Support month-end activities such as accruals, cost allocations, and inventory adjustments
  • Manage the full capital life-cycle, from proposals to project close-out and depreciation
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with departments to detail, document and report on business efficiency initiatives, and improve processes using the group ERP system
About You

We are seeking a hands-on Financial Analyst with strong skills in budgeting, reporting, compliance, and process improvement, who can drive cost and capital efficiency across the business.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting
  • Proven experience in cost and capital reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
