We operate about 100 medical laboratories and 2,000 patient collection centres across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. **About the role**

We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Perform and maintain customer care work practices in receipt of customer, doctor & patient enquiries.
- Set up and manage case files as appropriate to the testing requested in a timely and efficient manner according to documented procedures
- Assist with various customer care tasks with the focus being on teamwork
- Answer phones and triage calls for distribution to appropriate team members
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with privacy legislation
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Manage time effectively and prioritise work within established routines, methods, and procedures
- Work cooperatively as part of the customer care team and wider Genomic Diagnostics team

**About you**
- Ability to problem solve would be an advantage
- Proficient computer skills, excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity with medical terminology would be an advantage
- Possess sound communication skills and good customer care
