Clayton, Australia Trelleborg Industrial Solutions (TIS) Full time

As the Technical Support Manager, you will provide and coordinate technical & warranty support for Trelleborg Docking & Mooring products globally, predominantly within Line Mooring System to start.

More specifically you will:

- Take responsibility for the provision of all technical assistance to clients, both internal and external utilising the service team and leveraging our engineering capabilities
- Work to enhance the technical support experience
- Manage product warranty on Trelleborg Docking & Mooring products
- Take a lead role in the development and implementation of key process improvement initiatives in support of technical support service provision
- Be a key driver of continuous improvement both within the technical support process itself and for the wider business and its products

For this role you will need:

- Relevant trade or university qualifications such as one or more of the following:

- Instrumentation or electrical trades, electrical, automation, mechanical or mechatronic engineering
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years relevant work experience in areas such as industrial automation, instrumentation or electrical engineering design, construction, installation, maintenance, commissioning or other site services
- Experience in leading teams and/or managing project outcomes. Other equivalent experience will be considered
- Be able to demonstrate in-practice knowledge of managing work flows and task outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- A track record showing an ability to review and improve business processes
- Extensive experience dealing with clients especially under time pressure
- Excellent written communications
- Excellent customer service skills - client focused and patient under pressure
- Experienced in and clear on the importance of health and safety processes
