The Role
As the new Technical & Training Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for internal teams and external customers when it comes to technical product support, compliance queries, training, and troubleshooting.
This is a hands-on, people-first role that sits at the intersection of technical knowledge, customer service, and sales enablement. You'll work closely with product managers, inspectors, regulators, and the broader sales and service teams to make sure everyone has the tools, training, and information they need to succeed.
This role is perfect for an experienced electrician looking to move into a dynamic, relationship-driven leadership role.
On a Typical Day, You Will:
- Respond to technical product queries from customers and internal staff
- Develop and deliver engaging training programs for both new starters and seasoned professionals
- Investigate and resolve installation issues, compliance concerns, and warranty claims
- Collaborate with regulators, inspectors, and standards committees
- Track training activities and technical trends to drive continuous improvement
- Attend trade shows and participate in industry events to stay at the forefront of innovation
- Document and share knowledge to build a stronger, smarter technical team
The Candidate
- Qualified Commercial Electrician with at least 3-4 years' experience
- Extensive knowledge of commercial and residential installations
- Up-to-date on Australian standards, wiring rules, and regulations
- A passion for learning and sharing knowledge with others
- Strong presentation and communication skills - comfortable online or in person
- Highly organised and proactive - you love a plan and follow through
- A collaborative mindset - you work well across departments and with external stakeholders
