**About the role
This role ensures a high-quality, safe, and sustainable Allied Health workforce within the CKW Directorate to meet healthcare needs. Key activities include providing advanced leadership and strategic direction in Allied Health safety and quality, workforce analysis and planning, learning and development, and service planning in collaboration with CKW Allied Health Discipline Directors and staff.
About you
Design, implement and evaluate CKW Directorate wide systems to enhance quality and safety of allied health practice, workforce capacity and productivity to improve patient access, outcomes and experiences and provide value for-money allied health services in an Activity Based Funding environment.
Provide advanced level and contemporary workforce planning advice to CKW allied Health disciplines, and to all relevant Queensland Health service stakeholders at CKW and across QH for state-wide services.
Provide day-to-day professional supervision/mentoring to project officers temporarily employed to the work unit.
