PPM is an expanding Australian company specialising in the supply, assembly, and support of cutting-edge sintered stone (porcelain slab) machinery. Serving a range of clients across the construction and stone fabrication industries, we offer complete end-to-end solutions—from machine assembly and installation to ongoing technical support.

To meet growing production demand, we are seeking a skilled and motivated **Production Manager** to lead our workshop operations and help drive our next phase of growth.

**About the Role**

In this hands-on leadership role, you will manage the full production cycle of sintered stone cutting machines—from mechanical and electrical assembly through to final testing and delivery. You’ll oversee production planning, parts procurement, quality assurance, and team performance to ensure efficient output and exceptional workmanship.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage daily workshop and production operations
- Plan and meet production deadlines in line with customer demand
- Oversee mechanical and electrical assembly of machinery
- Supervise and support a team of technicians and workshop staff
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Ensure accurate inventory and parts control
- Uphold workplace health and safety (WHS) standards
- Monitor quality control across all stages of production

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in machinery assembly, mechanical manufacturing, or fabrication
- Experience in a leadership role (e.g. production manager or team leader)
- Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical system assembly
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- WHS knowledge and commitment to a safe working environment
- Forklift licence or trade qualifications (preferred)
- Experience with sintered stone or ceramic processing equipment (highly regarded)

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
