Production Planner for Heavy Vehicle Manufacturer

- A leading water truck manufacturing company, is hiring a Production Planner to join their team. _

**Role**:

- As a Production Planner you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient planning and scheduling of our manufacturing operations to meet customer demand and maximize productivity.
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop production schedules,
- manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of our water trucks to our valued customers.

**Responsibilities but not limited to**:

- Supervising the production planning process
- Procurement of necessary parts
- Assessing production lead times
- Ensuring punctual deliveries from suppliers
- Collaborating with the production team on vehicle manufacturing
- Demonstrating exceptional organizational skills
- Strong data analysis skills
- Proficient in planning and scheduling
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Pay close attention to details for accurate planning and execution
- Solve problems as they arise during production
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Excel spreadsheet
- Use software and tools to streamline planning processes
- Lead and motivate team members
- Ensure workplace safety for all employees
- Focus on meeting customer needs and delivering quality products

**Qualification**:

- An engineering degree or equivalent practical experience

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Production planning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Engineering Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Drivers licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
