Fern Bay Motel is a busy motel located at Fern Bay and is only 20 mins from Newcastle. We are looking for a casual front of house receptionist, someone who is a great communicator, has an outgoing and friendly personality, who is punctual and reliable. This position will consist of approx. 20 hours per week. The hours are 10am - 2pm with some shifts from 2pm - 9pm on a 7 day week roster.

Duties Include, but are not limited to:

- Checking guests in and out
- Reconciling daily transactions, preparing tax invoices etc.
- Managing accounts
- Delivering and collecting room service
- General Cleaning and assisting house keepers when required
- Any other duties that maybe required to keep the motel clean & tidy
- Current RSA is required

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fern Bay, NSW 2295: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- MS Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

**Salary**: $28.00 - $37.00 per hour
