We are seeking a customer focused, enthusiastic and reliable Receptionist to join our team at Kims Beachside Retreat.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting various hotel operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Handle reservations over telephone, email and in person, providing information about our unique accommodation, our history, restaurant and other services.
  • Welcome our guests, check them in and out efficiently and attend to all queries and special requests.
  • Process payments and maintain organised records of daily transactions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guests needs are met.
  • Administration, managing booking system and databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is being captured.
  • Assist in administrative tasks and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using various computer systems.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
  • Full working rights in Australia are essential to be considered for this role.
  • Experience is preferred.
