About the Role

**Some of the Manager's responsibilities will include**:

- Supervising four policy officers (three AO7s and one AO6)
- Oversight of the team's activities and tracking all reviews to ensure compliance with legislative timeframes
- Planning reviews, gathering information, drafting briefing notes and review reports
- Leading or participating in consultation meetings with school or regional staff
- Responding to queries from staff or external agencies about reviews
- Providing advice to senior officers or external agencies on the department's reviews and completing require quarterly reporting
- Representing the department on relevant inter-agencies working groups.

About You
The ideal applicant will have demonstrated strong abilities in research, analysis and reporting, excellent stakeholder management skills, experience managing staff and high level oral and written communication skills. An understanding of the Queensland child protection system and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are highly desirable.
