This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

**As the Project Officer within STEM, you will**:

- Understand and support the objectives and goals of the team.
- Plan, write, coordinate and deliver internal and external STEM communications.
- Maintain and manage STEM web presence.
- Complete project activities allocated by the Manager, in line with project objectives and
- timelines.
- Manage the team's schedule of activities and assist in coordinating travel arrangements
- for project team officers.
- Assist in completing financial transactions using SAP.
- Maintain accurate records and undertake secretariat duties for meetings and reference
- groups.
- Provide administrative support for key STEM projects including M in STEM, Peter Doherty Awards, STEM Girl Power Initiative, and Premier's Coding Challenge, utilising Outlook, Excel, MS Teams, Survey Manager and Content Manager.
- Provide administrative support to the Director Curriculum.

**What you need to succeed**:
**We are looking for someone with the ability to**:

- Communicate confidently, structuring written and oral communication to ensure clarity.
- Effectively prioritise and organise work tasks.
- Work effectively across a number of teams and individually.
