About the role
The Payroll Officer works as part of a team responsible for providing professional and efficient Payroll Operation services across Courts Group and in particular this role takes carriage of our Executives and Judicial Officer cohort. This role works closely with the Executive and Judicial Entitlements Advisor.
Responsible for the administration of operational payroll day to day tasks that lead up to fortnightly pays specifically for the judicial and executive population across Courts Group. Payroll is performed each fortnight in the form of main and mini pay run based on the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement 2020.
Processing of the fortnightly payroll for judicial officer's and executives and working closely with the Executive and Judicial Entitlements Advisor in relation to more complex transactions relating to employment conditions and benefits. Update and maintain associated personnel and payroll records using TRIM. Keep accurate and complete records of work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and CSVs records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
Impart well -researched, accurate and meaningful advice to Executives and Judicial Officers on conditions and benefits. Provide quality customer service through effective communication, offering timely responses to a range of queries and flexible problem solving.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in payroll processing (Chris21 is preferable) and the ability to enter, modify and extract data accurately to assist with the management of client data Intermediate computer skills and competent with Microsoft products.
