**About the role**:
Reporting to the Shared Services Superintendent, a great opportunity for a newly created role for an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join and support our Shared Services team. This role will oversee the supervision of contractors, coordinating the maintenance facilities and assets to ensure quality standards, compliance, safety, leadership services and financial targets are met.
**Key responsibilities;**
- Maintain and promote a safety working environment
- Provide regular feedback and develop subordinates professional and personal growth
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
- Ensure compliance are adhered to with Ampol’s standards, protocols, policies and procedures.
- Effective day to day management of the Site Services team
- Responsible for the effective life cycle management of all buildings and related fixed assets
- Engage and ensure all contractors onsite fulfil their commercial and technical obligations
**About you**:
You demonstrate proven skills and experience in a similar role with high level of strategic thinking and planning. We are ideally looking for someone who has the capability to oversee contractors onsite and to deliver the operational objectives within the site services function. Your dynamic communication skills, effective stakeholder engagement and strong analytical and problem-solving skills will thrive in this role.
**Skills and experience**:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Safety Management systems and Quality Management systems
- High level of strategic skills
- Proficient in SAP, Lotus Notes and MS Office
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Planning and Project management skills is desirable
