**About the Roles**

Our client are experts in event waste management and sustainability. The role is responsible for the organisation and planning and coordination of suppliers at events, guiding State Operations Managers and teams to deliver the National Events Calendar and assisting in quoting and pricing up new tenders and quotes. You will be reports to the National Operations Manager, and is responsible for client management, pre-planning and onsite operations of events and festivals.

**Must be flexible as you will be required to work weekend, public holiday, early morning, and late-night shifts as required.**

**Key Responsibilities**

The position involves, but is not limited to, overseeing and events from the start to the finish. Tasks include bumping in infrastructure and gear, movement of bins from the warehouse to site in a truck or utility vehicle, taking delivery of equipment and setting up bins and recycling stations onsite. It also includes supervising staff at the event. Tasks throughout the event could include general litter picking, emptying of bins, transport of waste, staffing breaks, sorting waste, inductions, vacuuming, table clearing, window cleaning, general cleaning and anything in the quote or that the client has requested. You will oversees the bump out and final clean of the event site. This involves movement of gear off site back to the warehouse, supervision of staff, fine comb litter pick and cleaning of the site.

Other duties include waste reports, delivery and support, uniform and warehouse upkeep, stock takes, picking up consumables and orders for future events and cleaning of company vehicles.

There is also a degree of client and contractor account management that is involved while not onsite and will included planning meetings and catch-ups with and without the National Operations Manager.

**This is a hands on/physical role with an element of office time that involves leading by example to casual staff, volunteers and colleagues.**

**Key Requirements**
- Must have 3 years Event Managemenrt experience
- Must possess excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and even in listening
- Must be proactive in the line of duty
- Must have the ability and willingness to work as part of a team, and most importantly, lead a team
- Should have a clear understanding of customer service guidelines/principles
- Must have relevant experience in cleaning and supervision of cleaning procedures
- Must always adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures
- Able to assist in other areas as required or requested by the company
- Driver's license.
- Advantage (but not required) if successful applicant has events experience and/or sustainability/waste management.
- Advantage (but not required) if successful applicant holds a current passport - as international travel may be required

**Salary**: $600,000.00 - $800,000.00 per year
