**Details regarding the role**:
To this end, OMD is looking for an exceptional Business Analyst with strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively translate data into insights. You will work closely with the business team, including media planners and strategists, to implement process improvements, work to analyse media spend data and deliver valuable and relevant insights to our client.
- Updating, designing, developing and enhancing competitive analysis reports in line with business requirements
- Analysing online and offline data to evaluate performance
- Data integration of separate data sources between media spend and competitor creative, to connect media delivery to business impact
- Collating and QA data for monthly reporting
- Assisting the team with stakeholder management and communications
- Fostering a culture of innovation and operational effectiveness within the team
- Ensuring timely follow through on all scheduled and ad hoc deliverables
- Generating and communicating clear, compelling and actionable insights; constructing insightful narratives' through sophisticated analytic techniques
- In conjunction with the business management team, presenting reports, POVs and other materials to clients on a regular basis over the phone and in person
About your skills and experience
- You thrive working on a fast paced and dynamic account
- An individual who is proactive, collaborative & attentive
- Strong analytical ability - data manipulation (Excel) is a must; ability to present data in compelling way; ability to draw insights from data
- Comfortable dealing with senior marketing clients; solid client management skills and polished communication skills
- Ability to connect data insights to marketing and commercial challenges, and make strategic recommendations
- Confidence in translating meaning of business performance, brand health, creative & media effectiveness
- Ability to work across different disciplines within the team, representing an analytical POV
- Willingness to get hands dirty in data, and dive into the weeds, as required
- Media planning or other marketing experience nice to have but not necessary
- Strong Excel is a must - advanced statistical and data science skills is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated experience in a quantitative data driven field
