FIS provides evidence-based screening, assessment and intervention services for individuals in custody and the community. We focus on areas such as violent and sexual offending, restorative justice, violent extremism and family violence.
**As an administrator in the Support Services team, your priority is the FIS reception area.** Your responsibilities include the **efficient delivery of administration** and **operational** support, ensuring the reception area is** resourced and operating smoothly**. You will ensure **accurate record-keeping**, oversee file management and data entry processes and ensure the maintenance of office supplies and equipment as well as manage mail and correspondence and assist with departmental systems and technologies.

**What you will do**
The administrator delivers services in line with our policies and procedures. You will:
- Have demonstrated **experience in a high-volume administrative environment**.
- **Oversee reception duties,** including distributing administrative tasks to the administration officers, answering calls, assisting visitors, and handling enquiries professionally.
- Oversee the reception desk roster to ensure effective, adequate and efficient coverage, including training of new administration officers.
- Provide general administrative support, such as file management, data entry and scheduling.
- **Maintain office supplies and equipment**.
- **Use and update databases**to ensure accurate records.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and file transfers securely,** ensuring proper record-keeping and confidentiality**.
- Provide **administrative support for portfolios** such as Freedom of Information and Distress referrals.
- Support staff with projects, **meeting administration** including minute-taking, and other assigned tasks as needed.
