This opportunity will be positioned within our Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems (EWIS) branch within the Joint Systems division of CASG (Capability, Acquisition and Sustainment Group). EWIS strives to strives to be at the forefront of supporting and delivering some of the most exciting capability within Defence. As part of Joint Systems, EWIS contributes to the acquisition and support of systems for electronic warfare, command and control, satellites, and guided weapons.

**About the Role**:
You will support several in-flight projects across EWIS Maritime Systems Program Office (SPO) that are included as part of our One Defence Capability System. These specific projects are delivering critical Electromagnetic Warfare capability to our war fighters. As part of your core responsibility, you will administer scheduling and project controls expertise to establish and maintain a suite of program and project schedules whilst supporting the team with reporting to ensure key milestones are achieved.

**_Note: We hold a preference that this role will be based in either Canberra or Adelaide, if you are willing to relocate, then you are encouraged to apply. _**

**Your typical day could look like**:

- Partner alongside Commonwealth project team members, providing support through progress of projects through the One Defence Capability System, including development of key documents supporting project clearance through Defence capability gate reviews.
- Develop and maintain program and master schedules.
- Present variance analysis and reporting, including forecasting and input into the development of corrective actions where required.
- Present risk management activities with EWIS Maritime SPO Project Managers, both Commonwealth and Team Nova.
- Undertake project control activities, inclusive of: budgeting, change management, forecasting, earned value and administration.

**What we would expect from you**:

- Diverse program and project scheduling experience.
- A background in project controls.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project management.
- Experience in the delivery of multi-discipline complex projects in Defence or similar industry.
- Extensive experience in working with and driving multi-functional teams.
- Highly proficient communications skills & interpersonal skills.

**Desirable skills**:

- Defence and CASG experience in Electromagnetic Warfare and/or Land.
- Certification/diploma or equivalent within a project management discipline
