**Job Description**:
**About you**

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Project Scheduler to deliver a scheduling service to both new and in-flight projects, for a Defence and Federal Government customer. These programs provide critical services to Australia.

This role will see you work in team of Project Managers and Australian Government stakeholders to develop and deliver a scheduling capability. You will also assess project issues and, with the project manager and senior stakeholders, develop resolutions to the schedule to meet customer goals and objectives.

A typical day will see you;
- Implement best practices across the program with regards to Scheduling and the service capability;
- Develop, monitor and review project schedules;
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers and other internal and external stakeholders;
- Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives;
- Analyse data and prepare reviews;
- Work with program management to plan and manage program resource requirements.

**Qualifications**:
**About You & What You’ll Bring**
- Ability to engage, lead and influence a complex set of stakeholders;
- Working knowledge of other related disciplines including forecasting and cost estimation;
- Expertise in MS Project;
- Ideally some knowledge in EVM and project financials.

**_ This role will require the successful applicant to have the ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance to the NV1 Level. Australian Citizenship is a requirement._**
