Workcover/return to Work Officer

One of our clients, a local council within the Langwarrin area, is looking for a Work Cover/ Return to Work Officer to join their passionate team.
This Job is a casual role however will be for 38 hours per week and could lead onto gaining a full-time contract.
Your shift will start at 8.30am - 4.30pm
Pay Rate: $37.50 - $48.62 Per Hour + Superannuation.
Starting: ASAP.
**You will Need**:
Relevant experience in WorkCover claims management and processing.
Demonstrated ability and experience in WorkCover/insurance contract management and administration.
Demonstrated sound statistical, analytical, and administrative skills.
Knowledge and understanding of the WIRC Act and other relevant legislation.
Current driver’s license
**You will be**:
Managing Council’s Work Cover claims, WorkCover premium and insurance to minimise costs.
Arranging for effective and timely return to work for injured employees
Ensuring prompt and effective management of Council’s rehabilitation program and confidential records system.
Undertaking worksite assessments and prepare, implement, and manage Return to Work plans.
Analysing and managing WorkCover claims documentation and actions.
Undertaking research analysis and prepare reports and other documents.
Please Note - a Police Check, WWCC and Covid Vaccination status will all need to be obtained upon placement.
