**THE ROLE**

**Are you**:

- Proficient in contract management?
- Able to work independently: shows initiative, organised, proactive and self-starting, seizes opportunities and acts upon them, eye for detail in inspecting work completed by contractors?
- A team worker: cooperative and work well with others in pursuit of team goals, collaborates and shares information, excellent communication skills?
- Good at researching, preparing, and executing technical specifications for maintenance programs?
- Able to maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders?

The Contract Manager Precinct Services is responsible for managing contracts that maintain common areas of public housing estates and vacant land owned by the department. The role involves a substantial amount of contract management in-the-field, including site inspections and site meetings.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**

1. Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
(a) Assisting in research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.

(b) Support the development and delivery of projects or sub-projects and their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.

(c) Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.

2. Where responsible for overseeing, monitoring or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.

3. Assist in providing advice to stakeholders and assisting in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters
