**Key responsibilities of this role**:

- Assist the Manager, Ethical Standards in the co-ordination of the department's public interest disclosure program as required under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010, relevant standards, departmental policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the day to day activities and responsibilities of the Public Interest Disclosure (PID) support officer to PIDs made in relation to Ethical Standards matters, including the preparation of relevant correspondence, risk assessments and support activities.
- Assist the Senior Advisor (Intake and Assessment) to undertake high level, complex conduct assessments, preliminary inquiries and reviews in relation to allegations of suspected corrupt conduct, as defined under the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 as well as allegations that fall within the scope of the Public Sector Commission's (PSC) Conduct and Performance Excellence (CaPE) framework with the view to informing appropriate actions.
- Provide advice, support and guidance to managers and supervisor on corruption prevention strategies and incidents involving corrupt conduct and conduct categorised within the CaPE framework, thereby enhancing the department's capacity to deal more effectively with such issues.
- Establish and maintain liaison with the Queensland Ombudsman's Office and other external law enforcement bodies and other monitoring agencies with respect to Public Interest Disclosure management.
- Actively maintain Ethical Standards' records, case and file management systems and reporting, including the Queensland Ombudsman's PID database (RaPID).
