We have an exciting opportunity to use your creative flair to join a passionate & dedicated team as the Communications & Media Manager, working for one of Australia's leading BioTech Companies, developing life-improving and life-changing innovations for the global stage.
Our client is an innovative, not-for-profit membership-based organisation, specialising in working on behalf of over 3000 members in the life sciences, for more than 35 years to provide representation & services to promote the global growth of Australian biotechnology, including therapeutics, medical technology (devices and diagnostics) and agriculture.

**Purpose of Role**:
Reporting to the Director of Communications & Media, you will be the voice of the organisation managing & overseeing the Industry Communications Coordinator, creating and implementing market-leading campaigns to support the commercial activities of the business. In this role, you will be responsible for all communications, including proactive & reactive media campaigns, publications, website content, marketing communications, writing speeches, newsletter content, and writing for a Biotechnology journal.

**Requirements**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and identify suitable opportunities to build out targeted & focused media campaigns.
- Execute a business-wide best practice approach to campaigns that will complement overall business plan and strategy.
- Assist in raising our client’s profile including managing all communications, media & marketing content.

**Key Requirements**:

- 5+ years experience in media campaigning & communications, preferably in healthcare/biotech sector.
- Values-Driven with a passion for creating, researching & executing engaging media content.
- Demonstrable experience in publication production & communications campaigns.
- Advanced writing for various audiences & knowledge of public policy environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication & stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Experience in managing people & ability to work with people at all levels.
