**Public Sector People (PSP) **are currently looking to speak to an experienced Media & Communications professional
***to join a Local Government on temporary, full time basis for an initial 8 week contract.
- _ASAP contract for 8 weeks_
- _Band 36 hourly rate_
- _38 hours week_
- _Council based in Melbourne's inner south east_
- _Flexible working arrangements_

**Media & Publications Officer**

Public Sector People are currently partnered with a Council in Melbourne's inner city suburbs in the recruitment of an experienced Media & Communications officer.

**Key Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or substantial working experience related to this area is essential
- Experience in media management and production of publications
- Proven experience in public & media relations along with Communications strategies and campaigns
- Ability to write communications and media strategies
- Knowledge and understanding of the economic, political and social issues relating to the Local Government environment
