We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join a leading national company specialising in innovative public open-space shade structures, furniture solutions, and public amenities.

With a strong reputation in the industry, they continue to expand while being leaders in the manufacturing, supply, and installation of a wide range of products. This role will ensure all procurement, purchasing and inventory control processes will be delivered upon and are essential to the day-to-day business operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to make their mark in a growing company with national reach. The role is based out of their Canning Vale head office, with state of the art facilities and will be reporting to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and prices
- Procure materials and components for customer orders and stock, ensuring supply of materials causes no delay to production
- Raising purchase orders covering local and national suppliers utilising ERP systems
- Compare and evaluate quotes from suppliers
- Review quality of purchased products and look at potential new vendors
- Maintain all records, stock levels, inventory, delivery information and invoices
- Monitor all stock levels and place orders as needed while keeping track of cost impacts on the business
- Communicate across all divisions within the organisation to ensure projects are completed on time
- Ensure all areas of the sales order cycle are actioned while ensuring necessary order status is communicated internally

Key Requirements:

- Proven experience in a similar role and a passion for procurement
- Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication and/or construction materials procurement
- Hands-on experience with inventory and purchasing software (e.g. EXO or Microsoft Dynamics)
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office suite of products
- A passion for customer service and the ability to communicate well within the team and across the supply chain
- High level of organisation and detail management
- Results-orientated, focused and highly capable team collaborator
